MEET THE ARTIST
My journey begins in my youth when helping my father stencil the truck for his construction business. In grade school I received permission from my art teacher (Joseph Whalen) to reproduce sport logos for display in the locker room. With that, my path to Commercial Art was illuminated.
As the story plays out, talent attracts talent and I fell in with the local music scene creating logos, album covers and banners for musicians and venues. When that adventure ran its course, I went for my degree in Graphic Design. 3 years after graduation a creative job appeared, and I became a Technical Illustrator.
However, I still wanted to know where all my musician and artist friends were playing or displaying their work. In 2010 that desire led me to create a website promoting all things in Niagara County.
While promoting the area I utilized my creativity to design and publish a series of large format connect-the-dots puzzles to provide an engaging activity that features local landmarks. Visit my store to view the puzzles. During the pandemic I developed a safe family activity that promoted tourism and the arts - Niagara County By The Numbers: An Interactive Mural Trial. I'm grateful for the overwhelming support of that project.
In this cookie cutter world, I have stayed true to my hands-on approach with all the old school methods and tools. Adding the computer to my arsenal has extended my offerings. The computer should be considered a tool, not a crutch. I remain fully committed to the old school ways of doing creative things while bringing in a bit of the modern to speed up monotonous tasks.
Today, I can offer a wide variety of Commercial Artwork and Promotional Items to aid in your success. This commercial art skill set is somewhere between a traditional artist and a modern graphic designer. Have a look around the website and let me know if there is something I can make to help your idea live.
